ANC Performing Arts Camp

June 18 -28, 2014 

Monday-Friday| 9am to 4pm

An exciting theatrical experience for current 6th, 7th & 8th graders culminating in a performance of Disney Junior's "The Little Mermaid."  Our professional group of teachers will lead your child through the process of blocking, vocal production, learning choreography and character development.

This camp will foster the imagination, creativity and practical performance skills of the campers as well as provide a positive space to make new friends. Campers will be exposed to many aspects of theatre; those who are newer to this art form will be given an introduction and those with experience will be pushed to advance their skills. The camp will feature break-out sessions such as sound, rigging, stage combat, lighting, dance technique and theatrical make-up.  Interest permitting, we will have an instrumental track whose participants will rehearse and perform as the pit orchestra.

 The cost of camp is $500 which includes a keepsake script, dress rehearsal DVD, and camp t-shirt.
