Our special guest, Contralto Robin Bier, will delight you with her rendition of Sea Pictures by Elgar, a series of 5 lovely songs.

The concert is rounded out with the 4th movement of Mahler's 3rd symphony, also featuring Robin.

BACT presents These Shining Lives

Friday, May 24 | 7:30 PM
Saturday, May 25 | 7:30 PM
Sunday, May 26 | 2:00 PM
Saturday, June 1 | 2:00 PM
Saturday, June 1 | 7:30 PM

From the company that brought you Pirates of Penzance, Much Ado About Nothing and more, Bryn Athyn Community Theater proudly presents These Shining Lives

These Shining Lives chronicles the strength and determination of women considered expendable in their day, exploring their true story and its continued resonance. Catherine and her friends are dying, it’s true; but theirs is a story of survival in its most transcendent sense, as they refuse to allow the company that stole their health to kill their spirits—or endanger the lives of those who come after them.

Bryn Athyn College presents Peter and the Starcatcher

Saturday, May 4 | 7:00 PM
Sunday, May 5 | 2 PM
Friday, May 10 | 7:00 PM
Saturday, May 11 | 7:00 PM
Sunday, May 12 | 2 PM

Peter and the Starcatcher upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan comes to be The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (a.k.a. Peter Pan). A wildly theatrical adaptation of Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s best-selling novels, the play was conceived for the stage by directors, Roger Rees and Alex Timbers, and written by Rick Elice, with music by Wayne Barker. From marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, Peter and the Starcatcher playfully explores the depths of greed and despair... and the bonds of friendship, duty and love.

Thursday, March 21 | 8 PM
Friday, March 22 | 8 PM
Saturday, March 23 | 3 PM
Saturday, March 23 | 7 PM

Follow that rabbit to a delightful, entertaining world of childhood fantasies.  Alice journeys into a world of talking animals, comic royalty and races where the contestants run in circles!  She also encounters the Mad Hatter’s frantic tea party, the watch-carrying White Rabbit and talking flowers--along the way she must deal with a sneezing duchess and a baby that turns into a pig.  The finale has Alice watching a trial, but she suddenly finds herself the accused! “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” gives a modern view to an old classic, where nonsense makes quite good sense. Don’t miss this comedic, family-friendly show!
